About Us

Deborah Brooks is the founder and organiser of Cumbria Quest. Better known as Debs - she is a qualified Masseuse, in Swedish and Aromatherapy Massage, and Advanced Aromatherapy. She is also a Reflexologist and trained at Newcastle College in 2003-2005 for all body therapy qualifications to VTCT standard.

Debs recently completed the First Degree training Reiki "The Usui System" and first
level Crystal Therapy and intends to study Geology in the near future (when she can fit it in). Debs is very interested in helping people become self-empowered, taking control of their destiny, along with encouraging people to help others without putting a price on it! and finally caring for our plants, animals and universe! Debs has her own business trading with Native American Artisans direct, along with importing Minerals and Crystals from various source. Link to Debs website on the left of page.

When Debs relocated to the North West in 2006 she found it difficult to find group work in Cumbria, she relocated from the North East, which offers a vast choice of various courses, workshops, discussion groups, and the likes!

organiser, all groups run independently and are in no way connected*. Cumbria Quest are always looking for different ways to make our group interesting, in order to grow, we need to accept change!

Cumbria Quest is a personal project and not about profit; it is simply to help others have access to alternative group work in Cumbria. We will introduce various groups with a vast choice and each meeting will introduce a new speaker who will offer access to their courses, workshops and discussion groups or just a talk about their work in the
hope that you find what you are looking for in life with alternative ideas and in the process you will be having fun with friends!

We have a selection of products available for purchase at our monthly Quest meetings,
including books, CD's, some charity items and magazines like Namaste and the Paradigm Shift to name a few!

It is very easy to become a sheep and go with the flow in life, but its much more rewarding to look inside yourself and find exactly who you really are, what you really want to achieve and how you want to be remembered!

The Cumbria Quest standard entrance fee is £3.50 this covers the rental of the venue, refreshments, advertising, other overheads. We aim to keep the price affordable for all, and thank you for you're support. We would like to encourage our youth to attend Cumbria Quest!

Our aim is to help you find that something that is missing. Good luck on you're personal and or Spiritual Quest!

SPEAKERS; please contact Debs if you would like to offer a talk or demonstration on your work, however please understand we DO NOT pay expenses, sorry. However your time at the
Quest may bring you more clients, students, business, if you provide readings or therapies, a page is built on Cumbria Quest website FREE of charge and your promotional paperwork distributed at meetings and this is our way of saying "Thank you" for sharing your knowledge with Cumbria Quest....
